Jane Goodall comes to Cape Town
What a privilege to meet world environmental leader and role model, Dr. Jane Goodall at Forres Preparatory School and being part of the Roots and Shoots South Africa program.
We were all in awe of her gentle humble but assertive message of looking after our planet and all living things.
Sharing us her personal story that poverty did not keep her away from education. She read from libraries and second hand books to learn about her interest in primates. Through waitressing and secretarial work she saved money to travel to Africa, and that is how she followed her dream.
We must join together collaborate and work hard with positive minds to bring positive outcome.
